At Shrewsbury Rabbit Rescue, our mission is to give every bunny a second chance at a "hoppy" ending. But we can’t do it alone. Since we don't operate a central kennel, our ability to save lives depends entirely on people like you.

Why Foster?

Many of the rabbits that come to us are overwhelmed, shy, or recovering from neglect. A quiet home environment allows them to decompress, learn to trust humans again, and show their true personalities. By fostering, you aren't just housing a pet—you are helping them become "adoptable."

Common Questions

• "How long does it last?" Fostering can last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. You tell us your availability!
• "What if I have other pets?" Many fosters have cats or dogs. We just ask that the foster bunny has their own secure, separate space.
• "I’ve never had a rabbit before." That’s okay! We provide a "Foster Starter Guide" to teach you the basics of bunny body language and diet.
